Checking brake pad wear (2/2)

Manually measuring brake pad wear 1. Measure the distance between the brake carrier machine fastening surface and the guide pin cap. 2. Caliper movement indicates the amount of wear. Measure the movement at the short caliper pin guide.

3. If wear exceeds 3.94” (100mm) replace pads.
