TRW TAS40, 55, 65, & 85 Series Gears

TRW TAS37 & 66 Series Gears (Newer style found on Late Model Trucks)

These TRW series gears can be identified by the first 3 letters and 2 numbers in the housing number visible on the side of the gear housing (example of TAS40 series gear shown). A.

The indentification number on a TAS37 and TAS66 series gear can be found on this end of the gear.

The TRW series TAS37 & 66 gears will have the identification number stamped in this area and can be difficult to see; here is an example of TAS66001.

C.

These TRW steering gears will have the identification numbers stamped in this area and can be difficult to see; here are examples of TAS40006 & TAS65024.
