Ross / TRW HF54 Series Gear

The gear series number of a Ross / TRW HF-54 gear can be found on the housing.

The identification number on these gears can be found on this end of the gear housing.

Gear identification numbers for the HF54 series gears will be stamped in this area and can be difficult to see. The characters stamped in this area can be difficult to see; here is an example of HF54040.

The TRW series THP identification numbers will be stamped in this area and can be difficult to see; here is an example of THP60010.

1. Number of mounting bolts 2. ¾ or fully splined input shaft

3. Two or Four Line Hydraulic Ports 4. Nut or Clamp type pitman arm 5. Make, Model, Year, & Series of Truck 6. Raised ROSS Identification Number cast on the main housing
